Don't people realise that every month is "White History Month"?
"Black" history month was instituted because at least in the USA where the black population is larger, you have kids growing up learning all about European history, but nothing about the rest of the world or any of the history of Africa. The curriculum obviously has to be balanced towards the needs and interests of the population that it is intended to educated - so in Scotland, Wales and Ireland, I'm sure it would be pertinent to have a reasonable proportion of a history curriculum dedicated to Celtic/Gaelic culture and history. This is no different, except it's just been given a name...
