Who designed this piece of rubbish?

I refuse to buy any HP products after they closed the factory. :(

They still have the bare faced cheek to keep the Houses of Parliament on the bottle yet they have no production at all in the UK.

Deary me, you let your odd nationalist opinions slide into every topic don't you!

On topic: Try holding the bottle at a sort of angle, like flat and let it dribble out! That's the way to do it :P

I wonder how far you could fire ketchup if you stamped on one of these mothers....at a conservative estimate I reckon about 1/4 of a mile.

A YouTube video dying to be made...

Not read the whole thread only the O.P. ( I am nice like that :p)
I stab the top & open it up, just sort of dig the rubber dobber bit out, runs a treat then :)

I've got one like in the OP atm, comes out in a very controllable stream - far easier to put on me sarnies than a glass bottle.

I keep it in the fridge though, maybe that helps slow it down?

Have you used one of these new rubber pressure nozzle type bottles?

Yes. We have one of the larger types and we refill it with the smaller bottles.

I'd say these are easier because you don't just end up with a dollop of ketchup in one place, it's easier to make a line over the food for example.

I'm a ketchup-holic so perhaps I haven't noticed because I really don't mind having a lot of ketchup on my plate.

Very, infact incredibly with this bottle because it dumps nearly the whole contents out with one squeeze

Getting it out is not the issue, it's the opposite.

Pick up bottle, shake bottle, one hard thrust downards to make sure there is no air trapped, smoothly increasing even pressure until the seal breaks, ketchup smoothly and evenly comes out.

They're not that bad.

It's the starter that's the problem not the actual running. You have to give it a big squeeze to get them going, when they do get going it starts with a Huge Splat. Like i said i dig out the dobber & get free running from the start. JD.

For a laugh compress the sides (whilst the cap is facing the ceiling), and then put the cap back down whilst retaining the pressure.

Next time somebody uses it, MWUHAHAHAHAHA unstoppable flow of ketchup!

Watch their face as they get Ketchup everywhere :D
