At the shop.
After it was established the shop could not get a part in time I said I can take it on as a personal repair. Have it fixed by she goes away.
that's exactly what I did too

Why are u inviting a 15 year old girl back to your house, don't matter if she is a customer. It isn't appropriate and your lucky he didn't knock you out for it.

It is fine to invite adult customers to pick up stuff from your house but not 15 year old girls......

I Invited Whoever wanted to collect the device to collect it from the location that i was at, just so happens to be my house. Some times i have people collect from my mother in-laws.

I invited them to collect from me as it was a personal repair, hence dealing with them personally. wherever i may be with the ipad is immaterial in my eyes.

I'm not "just as bad" at all. The shop couldn't come through with the service promised, so after they took the ipad back i suggested that i could take her on as a personal customer and have it fixed before her holiday. Simple. I was trying to do her a favor, this is how i have the reputation for good customer service in this field where i live... for going the extra mile.

How was i to know her dad who doesn't live with her would decide in his wisdom to throw a fit and call me a pedo for asking for the ipad to be collected from my house, whilst i was recovering from an operation (hence why not at shop for collection) before she went on the so called holiday tomorrow....

I cant see how i can be at fault at all in this situation.

I will still have personal customers drop off and collect from my personal address, just like i have done the past thousand repairs.
I do wonder what this bloke would have done if i hadn't actually gone to the shop today... come to my house? It seems to me that he had researched every detail and had a plan to simply try and get me in trouble, and get a free repair.

No, what kind of shoddy business practice is it too collect from your house......You have a store, use it to do business in.

Stop inviting 15 year olds to your house. The dad was perfectly right, u sir have pedo tendancies and your lucky he just got angry and didn't knock some sense into you.
 
I have two daughters and if you had invited them round to your house to collect the phone after hours, I would probably react the same as the father did. This is not the done thing and very unprofessional.

If you are smart, you will learn from this and not do it again.

You twit, you aint going to get nothing from the court. Think about it from the dad's perspective. You invited his 15 year old girl back to his house, pedo intentions or not. Even though i think your suspicious as hell. Your lucky u've still got your front teeth let alone a 100 quid taxed off you. Count yourself lucky.
