Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Sounds niceee :) But don't they stick out a bit too far?? They are meant to sit flush or at most stick out a little, yours looks quite a bit? I haven't seen an RS192 so not sure how they fit and line up :)

The exhaust was almost flush with the cat on, but the decat was quite a bit longer than the cat, so they had to push the system back a bit. I don't think it looks that bad though? The stock exhaust sticks out doesn't it?

They do a little yeah :) Not saying it looks bad or anything could well be the angle too but it looks to stick out a bit too much, can you get a picture? :D!!

i realy need to get the seat lower in the car as im a long chap and need to make room for the bash hat as this cars being setup for trackdays starting 26th feb at my local track Cadwell park :)

cant wait

The default seat frames sit on washers that are about 10-15mm high. If you take out the bolts from under the car you can remove these and drop the seat a bit. You can drop them all the way down, but then the seat wont slide any more as the runners are pressed against the carpet, or you can do what I did and replace them with a couple of flat washers lifting them a few mm that allows the seat to still slide. It doesnt drop it much, but you can feel it. Its definately noticeable if you then sit in the passenger seat.

Im the same as you, I need room for a helmet. Im 6'4" and not sure this is enough. Might have to change to some buckets and low frames.

Theres a guide on ClioSport on how to do it.

I was hoping to own this car for at least 5 months before someone drives into it....no such luck :(

Sucks doesnt it. Lorry drove into me so my boot lid is dented. :(

I've just got home after nearly a 3 hour journey back from JMS, after being told that my car wouldn't be ready today (cat mod) because the guy doing the welding couldn't fit it in. I've been home about 15 minutes and I get a call to say it's going to be ready after all. So now I have to go straight back up there :( It's a pain in the arse journey on trains as well.

Thats not good! Always worth checking before you set off.

Any chance of them knocking a bit off the price to cover the travel expenses? A bit cheeky but I can't imagine the train being cheap!

Om nom nom Liquid Yellow.

Best Clio colour by far!

Started the process of refreshing my car from its dreary state after being a daily to being fun again. Its sat outside at the moment filthy dirty, with a wonky exhaust, dent in the back and now its got a flat tyre :(. Looking very sad for itself. Hopefully the new goodies I have coming in the post will help cheer it up a bit.

After seeing a few other members on CS.net having a similar mod done, and getting really fed up of my exhaust blowing, I took my car to see Tom and James at JMS. They have done a fantastic job and I am over the moon with how the car feels, and how it sounds.

It might just be placebo, but the car feels so much more....I don't know, solid I guess. The exhaust sound is PERFECT when inside the car. There is a really really nice deep noise when putting your foot down, and it's just loud enough to cover the noisy engine, but not so loud that my ears feel like they are going to bleed.

I'm actually surprised how raspy it sounds from the video below, it's a much deeper noise inside.

Anyway, here are the photos:

Video / Before (standard Milltek cat-back, with a rattley noise which I believe was caused by a rusted clamp/bolts):

Video / After:

So yeah, I am very happy. Most of all with the fact my exhaust now isn't blowing, yay :)

Ok well i just watched my video again and they sound nothing like each other lol. So my car sounds like your car in the video, but only in real life. Dunno why its so bassy in my video
