Does anyone else feel like a bit of a chav driving round in one of these? I'm 25, and the car is a bit noisier than most, especially through town as the noise echoes off buildings and stuff. Plus, I also notice it's the chavs that look at me when I'm driving past, ha!

Driving down to Edinburgh the other day, with two friends. One got overly annoyed and started going off that everyone was looking at him when we were driving past.

He eventually realised they weren't looking at him, but the noise of the bloody thing

I love it!

I keep driving though town in a gear lower than a I need to so I can do short shart bursts of accelleration to get a nice BRAAAAAAAP from the exhaust

Difference is, I have a chavvy sounding car that WILL beat that diesel taxi off the lights! Unlike most of the 17 year olds barried up Fiestas!

Got hold of a Whiteline ARB! Will be here tomorrow! Likely to be the last one available in the UK for atleast a couple of months, and only then if you have one on back order already!

Chuffed. Annoyed a guy at work tho. He has a 182 and we've both been looking for ages.

Ill get pics up and a review when fitted, but if SS's review is anything to go by it should be epic!

Got the rear suspension on today, only ran into one problem where i thought you had to use the boot off the old shock, but a quick phone call to ktec cleared this up! Was pretty damn easy to do the back tbh, took about 25mins per side. Took the car down to the garage and got the tracking, camber, balancing and alignment setup, gone for as much negative camber on the front. Heres how it looks at the moment.

Pictures of my turinis to come tomorrow btw, here's a taster. Just a question, how do I put the Renault logo on the part that says speedline :\ ?

Seriously? Have you not been reading this thread? The last 3 pages have been filled with alexisonfire's progress fitting K Tec Coilovers... which are the cheap coilover option!

You buy some Renault Turini centre caps from people with Renault branded Turinis. ClioSport is your best bet.

Sorry pal, my car knowledge is terrible! I'm learning a lot though as I do each modification.

Thanks for the advise. How are the K-TEC coilovers? Obviously if they're a long way behind the H and R's I'll consider saving more but seems a bit OTT when the car isn't worth much more than £3,000. Already spent £600 on alloys and planning to spend £500 on the exhaust de-cat.

They are 50% of the cost of the 'decent' ones, so in my mind, if they are more than half as good as the other options then they are worth it. Both ScarySquirrel and alexisonfire have them, so they will be able to help.
