Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Indeed, more seats, should get better mpg aswell.

The M Coupe is a great car, and I'll still be keeping it, I just want another car (it will replace my 205GTi) that is more practical than a rwd 320bhp 2 seater.

It's definitely not a 5 seater unless you have 3 kids or 3 midgets in the back!

The boot isn't massive but it is adequate for most things. With the rear seats down you can fit most things larger things in without any problems.

The boot is actually very good for the size of car. I have managed to get 3 people plus 3 peoples camping gear for 3 days in my Clio. Filled to the roof though! :)

Well I have no rear seats at the moment, and whilst the boot is fairly large, you can't get a great deal in there, as the opening is relatively small.

I can't get a 3U server in there, which it would be useful to be able to.

I had new Renault dampers and Eibach Prolines (so not really any lower at all) fitted whilst I owned my 172 and the ride was excellent, would highly recommend that combo for general road use.

How to **** off all of ClioSport:

Track down and then buy the last Whiteline ARB in the UK, then offer it up for £300 to anyone who wants it!

LOL!

Haha you cheeky bugger!!!

Just checked the thread and most of the posts look liked they've been deleted , lol!! Good effort in finding it though..dont think anyone will buy it for £300 though will probably wait the two months, or do you have a punter willing to hand over the money?

Just changed the oil + filter and plugs on my 182... turns out it had bosch super plus 4 plugs instead of the Renault recommended NGK PFR6E-10.

Things are running smoothly and would recommend the change to a half competent diyer as it was pretty easy unclipping everything from the plenum and then removing the unit as a whole.

That thread has been cleared down about 6 or 7 times now. Most people just hurling abuse at me.

Cant believe nobody had done what I did before.

I really don't want to sell it after tracking it down, especially as its meant to be awesome. But if someone has £300 and wants it, they can have it. Its only going to sit in my spare room untill I fit it at the weekend, so just seeing if theres any interest. Properly peed off a bunch of people on CS tho :)

Grr. I am back to thinking about modding my Clio again, after a good few months of leaving it alone.

Current thinking is that selling my standard 172 wheels with the almost new tyres will free up funds for some 15" wheels (in black) and some Sportline springs...

Do I, don't I?

2118's do it! :)

If I had the cash I would be doing it, then lowering it ever so slightly. My next mods are new shocks/springs and bushes all round. Not really a mod though.

2118's are epic, but also WAAAAAAAAAAAAY out of budget. Im thinking either OZ F1's from a Phase 1, or Pro Race 1.2's.

If your going to change the springs, go for Sportlines.

I have seen a few with 1.2s on, not a fan. If I ever do change the wheels, it will be for something lighter. Not sure if there is many wheels lighter than the standard 182 wheels.

I see they have good reviews, how much do they lower by? 10mm?

Your kidding me right?! Standard 182 wheels weigh as much as a small moon! 1.2s are a lot lighter, especially if you go down to 15".

Sportlines advertise a 30mm drop I think, but seem to produce about a 15-20mm drop in real life.

Im starting to get really dispondent with CS, there seems to be hardly anyone who wants to help and not many resources or photos of common problems etc (comparing this with 106owners)

Is it just me?

Are you a member?

Put my 172 wheels up for a swap on CS in the marketplace, if anyone knows of anyone with 15" grey or black wheels they want to part with?

I have tried to find the weight of them, but can't!

Does anyone have the weight of them, turnis and 2881s?
