Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Jealous, wish my exhaust sat like that...stupid mounts :(

The cool kids use cable ties :)

I did LOL at that second AmD RR result. The changed the calculation too. There is definately some shinanigans going on there, but then I wouldn't expect anything else from the company selling and fitting the kit. Its just good marketing.

Mines up on PH at the moment, as of yesterday afternoon. Had some interest already. Will be sad to see it go but have enjoyed the thrills that come with it :)

Im seriously considering selling up too. I absolutely love the car, and im not really bored with it either. But i've never actually sold a car yet, i've scrapped 3 haha! Just fancy a change, but think i might miss the clio quite a bit. I reaaaaaaaally want an r26r.

How long you had her now?

Haven't you just started getting her track ready?

Had it since january, I could probably sell the car as it is for 4.4k, I paid 4300 for it and about 1200 on mods. If I returned it to standard I could probably get 4k and sell the bits for 800-900

Pff, fools.

That said, D Day for my Clio has been set. I have been paid so tonight I will be booking Bedford on the 30th July for my first trackday. The Clio must wow me, or she will be sold.

It needs to convince me that Taxing, MOT'ing and Insuring a car worth only £1000 soley to be used as a toy is value for money.

Thought you had it for longer? 6 months and already thinking of selling, what else can you get though?

Of course it will, right now I couldn't think of anything better for the cash. If I get my way, it will never be sold only turned slowly into a track ****! :)

Pfft noobs talking of selling. I want to keep mine for at least 3 years! That being said, I only do 7/8k miles a year. Have only done 1800 since Feb

Have you decided what you're going to get next Benny?

Yeah, I've viewed it on Sunday. My reason for selling up is due to facing a 45-50 mile commute each day. If the roads I were going to be driving were decent I wouldn't be changing I could put up with the ride but they aren't. Doing the journey from work to where my house is being built is quite tiring in the 182, lots of cabin noise (mostly from the Miltek) and whilst it's not uncomfortable it could be more comfortable.

I won't spam the thread with pictures of it so here's some links:

330d. Bit of an upgrade. If I want something small and nippy to again then I know that the Renaultsport range hit's the nail on the head.

Wait till you're doing 13,000+ and have driven something designed to deliver comfort you'll soon change your mind :p

I have a bike now too which will throw me past 60mph in 3.2 seconds so cars just feel super slow and boring in comparison if I'm honest! If you're after a speed thrill get someone with a sports bike to take you out for a ride.

I've done just under 10k in mine since end of january. I dunno, i've just never had the pleasure of parting with a car on good terms. My first car was scrapped due to the bottom end and gearbox going, 2nd car was scrapped because the HG went, plus a load of other things needing doing, 3rd car was scrapped due to being written off. I really want a r26r, but its well out of price range unless i get considerable finance, which i don't want to do. The other option is a remapped R26 which is around 270bhp/330ftlb and in price range.

I just feel its time to move on to something else, while my opinion of the clio is still an absolutely amazing little car for the money.
