Who here owns a Renaultsport?

I havent worked out if modding is a slippery slope or if i just have expensive tastes but I keep catching myself trawling ebay for the elusive Recaros. Must resist....

I am forever looking. example being the sportlines. If I wasn't doing the trackday in Llandow I'd buy them, but I wanted them partly for said trackday. evil bloody timing
They've sold now :(

For the Aux? I thought the Cambelt was 5 years and the aux half that?
From my notes when I first got it and was working out the future servicing needs of my 182...

Renault say: Auxbelt/pulleys every 36k miles or 5 years. Cambelt/pulleys, spark plugs every 72k miles or 5 years.
K-Tec say: Auxbelt/tensioners every 36k miles or 3 years. Cambelt/tensioners, camshaft end seals, spark plugs every 72k miles or 6 years.

Ok cool. I'm nowhere near hitting 36k, I'm doing about 5k a year, so I wont worry about it to much for the moment, and maybe get it done next winter.

Probs got to get aux belt done this year along with other big service stuff (but not cam belt).
Tried to source the annoying squeak I get when accelerating or going over speed bump, can't for the life of me work it out!

I asked Dan at 519 Automotive who advised 3years/36k. Not worth the risk...

Does it only happen over big bumps? I had a squeak that happened over what I can only describe as small/medium bumps haha.

Had my Megane on a dyno today. To my surprise it made 253.9bhp (engine) and 219.2bhp at the wheels. Looks like it may have been mapped at some point in its life. The torque figures seemed quite low however considering it has probably been mapped... (236.2 lbft max). A mapped Megane would normally be 270+ lbft I think.

Quite chuffed really! Was worth standing about in the freezing weather (it even snowed a little).

Has anyone here had the windscreen replaced on a Clio PH1 172? Mine's got an ever-growing crack and I'd like to make sure I fit the legit part. Prices seem to vary like mad for replacement. From what I can make out searching around, the PH1 windscreen is pretty basic, the same as a non-Sport from the era - but I'd like to make sure before I get it fitted.

Thanks.
