Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Do you guys have an idea where I could get an injector from this weekend in the Midlands?

Number 2 is dead on my car and I'm stuck at the family home.

It seems no one in automotive parts sales like to work past lunch time on a Saturday......

Question :

Why does my F4RT smell like rotten eggs.

Answer :

You may have a problem with your Catalytic convertor (or you may just wish to change your diet)...

:o :o :p

Wish I'd taken pics to show you guy's the lack of space is pretty silly and the route of the downpipe means the are layers of heatshields makes it a pain

Guys, does anyone know where iI can get a reasonable price 02 sensor that lives just before the cat?

a garage has told me that my emissions light being on is a sensor that isn't heating up properly causing it to make it extremely rough and not revving above 2000 rpm, this is not really happening when it's cold but rather if the engine is warmed up then I stop and turn it off for a few minutes like going for petrol and then it is horrendous, like it's misfiring, then suddenly a mile down the road it kicks and returns to normal! It makes for real interesting driving when iI pull onto the dual carriageway outside work :O

You could swap it around with the post cat lamda sensor will probablly still have the emissions light on but should cure the the other issues. Unless its broken too....

Picked myself up an 04 black/gold 182 last night, already got it booked into Diamond motors in Nottingham for a belt and dephaser change.

And ordered some Brembo HC disc and pads from G172.

It's going to be totally different to the 12 plate Diesel Insignia i've just given back to work

Can't wait to take it for a proper blast at the weekend. Also needs a good clean, polish and wax, hopefully the weather will be good.

It's tucked up in the garage until wednesday when its going for the belts (they're over due, so don't want to take any risk), but i'll get some sorted over the weekend once it's been cleaned.

Hey guys, hope its okay to ask here.

Thinking of getting one of these little things. Question is, whats the things to look out for when viewing one. Quite tight on money and dont want to be paying and paying.

Thanks.

I read through this before going to view any cars:
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?276833-172-182-buyers-guide

Pretty much covers everything.

Bear in mind that timing belt changes cost around £400, or £600 with dephaser, and need doing every 5 year or 72k (i think), and the aux belts need doing every 36k, and can take the timing belt at when they go. So proof this has been done recently is a big bonus.

Not happy with my local dealer.

Contacted them a few weeks ago regarding the recent recall about bonnet mechanisms failing and I was informed that my vehicle had no safety recall and was fine.
Fast forward to today and I've received a letter via recorded post asking me to book my vehicle in to have the bonnet mechanism looked at!

Is the bonnet thing just affecting 172's or is it 182's too. I got a letter about my 172 but that has been scrapped now, but I doubt my new details have updated soon enough for me to receive a letter about my 182?

Also who got the trophy in the purchases this month thread in GD I want more pics :)
