Vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge
(HID) or LED dipped beam headlamps may be fitted
with headlamp washers and a suspension or
headlamp self levelling system.
Where such systems are fitted, they must work
Check MOT legislation, I'm fairly sure if you have xenons and you have/had washers then they should be fitted...
I forgot to update this thread about the 182. As i said above, my clutch let go at 7k RPM and took the gearbox with it. On closer inspection it looks like its imploded the engine too. I've not taken the head off yet so don't know the extent of the damage, but its safe to say at 7k RPM everything is melted. Spent so much getting the engine to tip top condition over the last year and to have it go this way is disappointing to say the least!
Onwards and upwards, no idea when the car will be back on the road, but the plan is to sell on my ITB's and 438's (providing they are ok) and build a supercharged megane internal F4R over the next year or so. I'm not chasing huge power, but would like to stay at a comfortable and reliable 260-270bhp.
Why not just stick a Megane engine in with the turbo still on it?
I'd say about 2k. Belts due in a year will be a bargaining point for some.
It cost me £403 all in after exchange rates and postage.
And yes it essentially works like a copy/paste format, So I have copied my original ECU program to my laptop and have pasted on his modified remap (hopefully that makes sense).
I can just revert the process whenever I want and sell it on to the next owner. All they need to do is purchase a license file (€198) to unlock the unit to their car.
Yeah thats the one. Standard edition, Megane 3 RS, Module = none.
You will get a remap included as part of the purchase after you connect to your ECU and send Henk the VIN code. I dont know why the seperate listing for remaps are showing out of stock as that listing is for people who purchase 2nd hander RSTuners and now want to use it on their Megane, they would need that (currently out of stock) seperate remap listing.
Hope that makes sense.
