From what I've read on CS they can be a bit temperamental.
After fitting my Milltek Cat Back my emissions light came on a few times when sat in traffic/at a queue for the pumps. Sorted itself and been fine since.
Thats just the .cal file, you need the software / firmware as well (.rst).

Basically you need to flash the .ecu with the updated software which includes the OEM .cal file (.rst). Once done you then flash the performance .cal
Your 182 has the same software version as mine had before upgrading to the 8200 7804 software.

Yeh i've read that myself. I took it back and the dealer replaced the lambda sensor so all's good again now!
Next on the list is a metallic vibration from the exhaust under acceleration which hopefully is just a heatshield that needs fixing!

I've ALWAYS found Elephant and Admiral to be the cheapest on the cars I've had by far. However the trick is to add you parents as named drivers as this brings the policy down savings you loads. It doesn't have the same effect when you do it with other companies. On my z4 at 21 adding my parents saved me around 500 IIRC.
Hi mate, hadn't forgot about our arrangements just been I'll and mega busy this week at work. Managed to take the car out for a drive last night and the new map has done the trick. More urgency low down and nowhere near as rough in the mornings.
I need to give you a code so you can obtain your licence (unlock code).
This will probably take about 2 days to arrive by email.
Then you need to plug your car in to see which files you need to download.
Then the flashing takes about 45 mins in total.
Probably easier if you come and take the tuner away providing I get it back as I need to sell it on?

No problem was just making sure you still wanted it or I'd stick the RS Tuner on ebay.
Took him just under 2 days to reply with a code. Im free Saturday morning before 12:30 if thats any good to you? Should be available Sunday but not 100% just yet.

So i have had an accident in my seat ibiza 
There is a chance it might get written off (hope not) I will probably get £1500 for it if im mega lucky. How much money would i need to add to thet to get a non wrecked 172? If its more then £1500 ill leave it. As much as i would love a nice 172 im a full time Student and only have a part time job so money is tight

Check insurance first before getting one.
My 2000 172 cost more to insure than my last car (2001 Audi S3)
I honestly thought it would save me a bit with not being as fast but I think due to the majority of 172 owners being young and inexperienced = lots of dead clios and lots of money to insure. :/
