Did think about purchasing a WRX PPP thing but I just prefer my crappy diesel. It does the job for whatever I need and I can run it into the ground.

Seen a set of these for sale (16s). What's the going value for these? Seller wants £650 which feels quite rich but then I've not seen many like them - reputedly off a 22B.

No, he's right - the Bug STI scoop is about an inch higher than the Bug WRX. However, some third-party companies made replica Blob scoops which fitted the Bugs, and were even higher (I had one). They had to be third party because the hole in the bonnet was bigger on the Blob than the Bug.
