Who here owns a Subaru?

Someone else will know better but I think the attraction is the EJ20 in the JDM version, other than that its trim and styling really I expect, for example I know the seats are different in the Cross Sport. The Cross sport also had the option of various STi bits which the XT didnt get. I believe the Cross Sport also gets STi suspension so is a bit lower.

The XT is available in Japan too with the EJ20 but it just doesnt look as good as the Cross Sport.

The S edition like I have came with the sti bits, main reason I got the cross sport instead of the sti, was not wanting the 2.5 lump

Agreed. Also, I was in the market last year for a STi and they were selling for around 650,000yen to 800,000yen, now they are going for 1m+ even for the very high mile ones. Those have really shot up, I think thats partly why the manual Cross Sports are a little more expensive now (only a bit, not to the level of uplift that some garages are asking). The autos are super plentiful and easy to get a low mile good one for not a lot.

Few pics from the port, doesnt look too bad, its got a very yellow headlight on the passenger side which I'll need to resolve, not easy to get a replacement one here so might try the usual sandpaper/cream

Otherwise seems decent on the pics, unfortunately no boats until Jan, but Im not in a rush really

Aye, I might give the 3M kit a go, it looks good. Ive got a few other ones in the garage that I might try first, the yellowing on that one headlight is the worst Ive ever seen. I assume they were both the same and the owner found a cheap single as the drivers side looks fine

Thanks - I'm not trying to rejuvenate the channel or anything, but Yaris content seems popular right now. If I didn't have the Subaru I'd be buying one I think.

In the meantime I've got a fair few Yaris related videos coming and I'll eventually work my way back through old content of my own car :)

After waiting nearly 6 months for a space, my RA has gone in for it's chassis refresh. Everything underneath removed, cleaned, powder coated and refitted.

It's an as and when job so will be gone for a few weeks. Hopefully get some progress shots along the way.

Local garage to me. The chap is very well regarded. There's often enthusiasts cars there waiting for work.

Only downside as such is my car has Dinitrol sprayed underneath and isn't a partiucarly good job. Will be a pain to get off.

Found a possible contender for next car, 99 STI wagon import, had a rebuilt engine and a few other upgrades.. Looks tidy in pics but who knows what a physical viewing will reveal, if it's even still there once i'm able to go view it.
Plus owner doesn't really know what he wants for it, which is not the best start!

A few pics from the garage refreshing the underside of my RA
