Who here owns a Subaru?

whats the difference between STI and WRX versions? I never know, except I think the STI has better spoiler and bonnet scope, more BHP too?

Spoiler choices are options, but yes, in general a WRX will have a low spoiler and an STI will have a high one. Unless they don't. STIs have more power and torque, better suspension and better brakes. Yes, the scoops a bit bigger too. IIRC they have slightly wider track, and usually have bigger wheels. Generally a WRX is the car you buy, then regret that you didn't buy an STI.

Very good low mileage for the year that one. Plus its had a ECUTEK conversion.

When i purchased mine from HURST, mine had (still has) FSH and had only 37k on the clock.

Ive just completed 44k now with mine.

What are Hurst like on px? I don't see any other makes for sale. Got a 2008 Type R at the moment.

Not always true. 300-320 and the 5 speed equals a lot of fun.

Well I've been searching pistonheads, autotrader and ebay but can't really find many that fall into my selection criteria, which is basically colour and mileage. Doesn't seem many about generally, loads of 2.5 UK's though.

I think it depends in how good ur car is and how much you are willing to negotiate.

When I bought it I inky had a fiesta , so no interest in that at all lol.

But a type r might float his boat.

Ideally I want one unmodded but if it's got an aftermarket exhaust and filter with a remap from a reputable place I do not mind. I want something with around 40k on the clock ideally, I don't do many miles but don't really want a car that is older than what I have + more miles. It will be older as mines an 08 but you know what I mean.

This one is great mods wise but put off my 70k http://www.paulbrowncars.co.uk/car_350-bhp-STi-TYPE-UK-comes-with-Sanspeed-performance-pack-fitted.-Subaru_211_0_index.php
Although since researching the company I've ruled out buying from them.

Ah this is where it gets tricky, have to P/X. I cannot borrow against my savings because I'll lose out on the interest so don't want to do that. So pretty much restricted to trade, not doing finance.

Here it is, a bit dirty but i live down dirt roads and i've got 45 mile drive to work each way down country roads.

Need to get the back windows tinted.

Hope it performs just as good as my Jeep in the New Hampshire snow this year :)

Are the bugeyes prone to rust on the rear arches like the classic shapes all seem to be, as I have a classic which has had them cut/welded to fix it and im looking at maybe getting a bugeye STI/PPP

New shots with the new wheels on and also M3 lip spoiler
