This is an actuator for the turbo. Easily confused with a dump valve as they look pretty much identical

Erm just take my money!

As for the sound, I find nothing more addictive than driving my car with the windows down. I mainly drive throughout Central London and the amount of comments/attention I get, photos taken is incredible.
