Who here owns a Subaru?

The rubber strip fell off one side on mine also, I just make sure it gets properly cleaned. There was no oxidization coming off when I last used clay bar so I'm sure it's fine, I'm thinking it might be a bit of a water/gravel trap leaving it on.
 
Looks like my dad would be no longer interested in the Scooby Kosta.

Been and bought an Evo 8 today. FQ330 63000miles. Lots of ralliart invoices including AYC pump and other bits in September to the tune of £1800 . Paid £9000 after knocking them down £500 as it needs a wheel refurb and front bumper respray.
 
Consider them ripped off. :) Gave her a good clean and polish today and she looks epic! :D Just waiting for the mud flaps to turn up and hopefully I'll be able to stick them on this week. Cheers guys.

That reminds me, while I was cleaning and putting some new wipers on, I noticed that the oil is low... What would you guys recommend I use? 2.0 WRX STi with no mods.

Have a look through your receipts and see what was last used if you want to top it up for now. But when you change it, use some good high quality 10w40. Nothing thinner!
 
Back to the dreaded 8PSI!! Damn thing won't boost past it, was fine when I set off back north (120) miles but lost half boost on the way home, no engine light or error!

Before when I got this, I got an eml which related to the manual boost controller I had on, I've since took that off and reverted to stock, I can't see any splits in any pipes etc

If I reset the Ecu and this goes back to normal surely it can't be a boost leak
 
I'm so confused with this car, it pleases me and ***** me off at the same time.

Coming to work from the gym I can smell a very strong petrol smell in the cabin, pop the bonnet and it seems to be coming from downpipe area is this because it's running lean?!

Also despite sealing up the boot it's still leaking water, why buy an old Jap performance car :rolleyes::o
 
Submitted a case to Subaru UK, looks promising on getting it fixed free of charge.

On another note, ordering a Tactrix tomorrow :D
 
Booked in for next Thursday for an inspection, must say I'm very impressed with the lightening quick response from Subaru UK
