Yep removed and painted. The brembo is a sticker which is put on and then a clear coat applied on top of everything.
Just picked it up and the green and black side looks absolutely awesome! The purple side is a bit more subtle, it's a really lovely colour when the sun hits it but I'm not really one for being subtle so later in the year I'll get them redone in hot pink

Awesome mate, looking forward to seeing some pics. A lad in my town had his painted hot pink inline with the STI obligatory pink colour, looked better than I expected though he still got the wee ripped put of him for having a STI pink and Mica blue colour scheme going on
Been on the phone to a garage tonight about a widetrack, all looking goid until they said there was no service book!

Screw this, not interested in it now, check this...
Only 30K milage but no service book at all, it has apparently been self serviced from its 1 owner from new. That puts me off, what puts me off even more is that the clocks have been swapped to hawkeye ones. Nice mod but the whole thing just sounds wrong.
As the garage arent familiar with Subarus Ive made them nervous now and theyve already dropped offering price to me a lot!
Question though; it appears to have a retrofitted rear foglight, could it be a JDM? Do the JDM blobs have hawk speedo clusters?

That looks really good, i'd love one like that. I'd want to have a good look over it myself and get it up on some ramps, especially if you could scare the garage into more discount as its a grey import etc even though it's actually worth more because of that.

You could also try telling them as it's an import you will need to have the floor pan checked for a rot and making sure it's been undersealed correctly.

Bit more subtle, colour is Audi Merlin Purple, will change to a brighter colour when I get bored, any suggestions other than hot pink? Looking for a big contrast like the black/green.

Bright orange? I'm a fan of that purple though think it suits it very nicely

Yes I'm thinking hot pink but then some say I should also change the gold wheels to white.....I love the black/gold combo don't think I could ever not have that!
Wrong shade of pink for the badges and calipers, that's more baby pink.
I'm having a Lamborghini Arancio Atlas (pearl orange) done on the Bentley calipers, I think gold and orange will be too similar?
Edit: Just had a brain wave, how about orange rims and yellow calipers with black decals...ala 997 gt3 rs?
