Who is looking forward to GTA V

Is anyone else finding it harder to steal a jet from the Army base on next-gen ? On the PS3, it was a piece of cake but on the PS4 I just cannot seem to steal one (single player). I've tried HALO jumps, Franklin's special ability to drive in etc... Closest I've got was just out to sea, did all my move to evade the rockets and they still got me.

Usually, I'll get as far as opening the window before I'm killed. :mad:

nope , find it just as easy , jump over fence from road , drive straight to the jets nearest runway , take off , sharp turn whenever anything is 'locked on'

then fly around not being able to shoot anything i want to shoot and crash into a bridge because its dark

Is that the "ramp" to the right off the highway ? I've done that a few times, still can't seem to get a clean get away in the jet. Might have to try it on a fast bike...

I've just finished the single player, but forgot to leave the assasination missions until the end this time round.

What's worth investing in on the BAWSAQ?

On XB1 it's not like when i played through on the 360 and invested in PIS and ended up with billions. Most stocks are topped out at the moment or staying low with not much movement.

I might have to start blowing up rivals and investing on LCN rather than BAWSAQ if nothing starts moving.

For some reason I've been unable to shoot in my car for the past week or 2 online, I've no idea how to fix it. I've tried resetting controls etc (I know that I need to press lt then rt but it still doesn't work!)

I'm on xbox one online

I've just done the 4th heist with this hindrance and it's getting frustrating...

finally got my armoured kuruma last night ...... was destroyed by my crew in the first minute of having it with an rpg lol

They fixed the market in the PS4/XB1 version (this includes the the Lester assassination 'glitch' too).

There was an issue on a previous version which meant you could make billions per character again but that's fixed as well.

Not much point in gaining loads of $$$ in single player imo. Unless of course, you want to buy the Golf Course.

I thought the stock markets going up and down as part of those missions was part of the story. How was it a glitch ?

Even the Tinkle tip the guy gives going to the airport didnt pay off as well as on the 360 (stock jumped from $10ish to $400), only around 40% profit on XB1.

I'm going to try to 100% the single player this time, so want enough cash for all the properties. I can get them all except the golf course currently.

I've got 3 saves on the go.

1. no stock as i cashed out this morning 100m-110m each
2. VAP stock - currently 38m profit
3. UMA stock - currently 18m profit

Had 5.3 million in online yesterday.

Spent 3 million on a hydra - it's not that great tbh

Spent 750K on an insurgent where you can be simply shot through the huge windows. It's a good PVE car but not for PVP.

Spent 220K on a second apartment then about 150K modding a muscle car.

With the remaining 1 million i'm going to save up for a tank. I think a tank is the most useful vehicle you can buy. Basically you cannot be shot in it, it's extremely hard to blow up. If I was rank 70 I would have bought that first.

Another thing on my to buy list is the armoured car it's good against machine guns but not rpgs.

I understand why they haven't but they should have made a car that can withstand both rpg's and a machine gun. As it stands currently the tank is the only true PVP vehicle in the game apart from the hydra. I suggest everyone saves up for a tank.

From the Heist update i bought:-

Hydra, Savage, Insurgent (PV), Kuruma (Armoured), Casco, Gang Buritto. Only the Insurgent (PV) & Kuruma (Armoured) for my 2nd character.

The Savage, Kuruma & Insurgent are great for contact missions. The Casco sounds excellent, not a bad driver for a classic either.

I never bothered with the tank, it used to only take a couple of rpgs or you could sniper the driver, it might be better now though. I bought the buzard at the time instead, another excellent vehicle for missions.

I think i have some where around 7.1 million at the moment online.
