Who owns a Mondeo ST220 / ST TDCI?

Looks in good exterior condition or they've had it detailed and the alloys redone. I can't tell from the picture if it's shadow or not, but there might be a bit of rear bumper sag going on there. Easy fix for £2 and 10 minutes of your time.

Nice 220 boozerdawg! How much did u get it for? How many miles has it done etc?
I miss my 220 :(
I like the black tail lights :D

Not going to answer that, it was the highest I was willing to pay sadly, only knocked off £250 from asking. On about 87,000 miles. Absolutely loving the thing, just like everyone says, it just keeps pulling with no end in sight  I think it might need some tracking done so hopefully get that done ASAP. Such a god damned nice car, too nice for me :D

I'd seen that on AT, makes me think I have under priced mine as it's exactly the same as yours but Performance Blue.

Enjoy your ownership :D

Gentlemen, the day has come

Yes, I will be taking those rear lights off and putting the originals back on :D

I quite like the black lights - lovely car by all accounts - I loved my ST220 but I don't miss it hugely due to the thirsty V6.

Great engine that keeps pulling as you say, the only problem is that the engine is at its best just when you enter 'losing licence' territory. Same for many performance saloons though I guess.

Can say that again, trip back from Reading, tooting around my town, and drive to work, already down to quarter of a tank  This is going to be my expensive toy for a while :D

Well to be fair i can count on one hand the number of times i have gotten more than 30mpg out of mine!

Even on a long run i hit 28-29 mpg but the type of roads around here might be a factor. Lots of stop start twisties! :D

Lol didn't you get abuse Howard for saying you achieved around 34mpg+ or something a while back in this thread? :D
The most I ever got out of my 220 was 27mpg and that's like 70% motorway driving to and from work. And it drank oil like a fish compared to any other car i owned.
My Focus ST has only topped out at 24.7 so far doing the same journeys which is odd as it doesn't need to be revved anywhere near what my 220 did

I get 35 on a motorway run, low 20's around town. If you're in a 50 zone and 6th gear you'll get above 40 (just), but that's the highest I've ever seen it.

Fuel consumption is the only thing stopping me from getting an ST220 It would literally cost me an extra £1500 per year over my TDCI.

Would be nice having more than a paltry 115 BHP though.
