Who wants Dark Souls on PC?

The harder the game the better.

I always play games on the hardest difficulty setting.

So when I keep hearing people say this is ball crushingly hard, it intrigues me and I must play it. But I can't afford a console so PC will do. :)

Yes I own this on the PS3 which is connected to the TV downstairs. The OH and the little one watch TV so I go on my PC, thus meaning if this was on the PC I will be able to put the hours in.

Otherwise I have to wait until the TV is free (once everyone is in bed) and when it is I am usually tired myself and you can not play this tired.

It's not hard, it's broken, the combat is half decent but the translations are terrible, and nothing is explained, there is nothing in the game that explains kindling and hollowing and certain items say they have an effect but because of bad translation they don't do what they say

Grinding isn't a fun game mechanic but it is needed to progress, checkpoints are rare and you are punished for using them, there is no chance with some deaths, it's just unfair, on one part I was walking over a bridge and a dragon torched the whole bridge from out of nowhere which caused instant death in one hit wiping out everything I had done in the last half hour, how is that fun? I had no chance, you have to die there before you will know what to do, that requires no skill

I would go on and on but it has it's fans so it must be doing something right, It really, really doesn't do it for me though and it really should, everything it offers sounds amazing, I bought it on release day and regretted it almost instantly
 
Sorry to hear you didn't get on with the game Substance.

The game can be quite punishing if you are not careful, but I found this a refreshing change to a lot of other games that tend to be a little too much the other way and hold your hand all the way through.

A patch addressed some of the translation issues (no more "YOU DEFEATED" lol).

I guess it just requires some patience. It was my favourite game of 2011, without a doubt!

Would love to see it on PC and hopefully watch the modding community create something epic! :)
