Yes, I already predicted the $700 aggressive price last year which the naysayers thought I was mad to believe (even though every Ti generation has launched only slightly higher than the milking mid range 80 series and made the 80 series lose value overnight time and time again).

I member Simon touting the Ti will be well north of $1000. Easy being in denial of the 1080 losing value and the Ti pushing it's price bracket down.

Just because I have a 1080, it does not mean I have to pretend I'm blind to what inevitably happens to tech prices when something faster comes out.
Hahahahaha. So true :D

Not interested in the 1080Ti myself. It will either be Vega or Volta for me.

My next build will include a monitor with some flavour of adaptive sync, so that'll likely mean I'll be stuck with one team for a few upgrades... Will wait for Vega reviews then, and buy whichever GPU/display combo suits me best.

Have Freesync, have a 1070, wont be trying Nvidia again, will wait for Vega... How some people can keep scrambling for the latest and greatest from Nvidia at ridiculous price points is beyond me, last time out they bent the TitanX owners over by bringing the 980ti at a cheaper price but pretty much same perf, this time round they decided to not only upset the TitanXP owners by releasing a card with 95% of the performance but $500 cheaper but they also priced it close to the 1080 owners lol, they have thrown them a bone though by reducing the 1080 prices, which i doubt you will see straight away due to higher priced stock needing to be cleared first unless Nvidia subsidies the retailers.

I am sure there will be some hitting the £499 price point. Which means second hand prices will have to be £400-450 now. Which will probably be going even further down when Vega hits.

Nvidia will have to subsidise it then as most of the 1080 stock will have been bought at higher prices

No point, as my watercooled Titans are going to be quicker with the extra ROPs and wider bus.

I will be getting at least one and possibly two for one of my gaming PCs.
You should take a picture of your gaming PC room one day. If you are buying the inferior 1080Ti when you have a Titan XP, your PC room must be out of this world. You would do well on YouTube Kaaps :D

Me the 980ti is starting to struggle with some games running 3440x1440 without having to tweak settings. The 1080 wasn't a good enough jump in performance to warrant the upgrade imo and the Titan X is still silly money.

If the founders comes in between £700 - £750 I'll be ordering as it'll be going on water anyway so not too fused about partner cooling etc.

Awesome card but no, probably not unless I put one in a second PC. Will be good to see how much faster than a TXP they are which is what I use (on air too). Good to see there seems to be more to it than just a cut down card - seems to have a few extra features from what I've quickly read.
