Who will be getting a Vega card and why?

It could turn out that the guy is paralysed or something, that is the first thing that came to my mind when I read the post.

Ohhh, I didn't give that a second thought and just thought it was a typo.... Good point though.

I haven't jumped to freesync/g-sync yet but I'm more tempted for freesync due to more choices, so will probably go for Vega.

... Unless Vega somehow messes up.

Probably go ultrawide this year and if Vega offers comparable performance to whatever nVidia have for the games I play then I'll make the switch and get an UW+FS monitor.

Unlikely. Unless your talking about a cheap card 50-60% faster than a 1080.

Not really in need of an upgrade just yet and have a g-sync screen. Likely be a year or so for me yet either way.

Still looking forward to what AMD bring out CPU and GPU wise though.

really, any reason why someone in a wheelchair should not want to game on high settings

Well if some is so disabled that they can't actually install a graphics card, this leads me to think that they're paralyzed from the neck down. Even if your legs don't work you can still wheel on over to your PC and whack in a new graphics card.

Wouldn't worry about it I think he meant something not someone in that post.

The guy drives so I don't think he's disabled in a way that would stop him installing a GPU.

Yer, just looked myself and he likes his cars and meets, so I can relax and feel guilt free for my comment... Phew.

Nothing for him to worry about, it was just a friendly observation :)

I was wondering how you came to the conclusion that the guy drivers, had a look and noticed his sig :p

Just noticed it myself. Was not trying to make you feel guilty or anything. Just saying that there are quite a few instances where a person may need someone else to install their card ;)

I did the same bloody thing Saturday in the Pub. Not seen my mates Mum in a while and asked how she was....

Have a 1440p freesync monitor so if Vega gives me a reason to upgrade from my Fury then I'll lap it up, Ryzen first though. nvidia wont be getting my money unless they start changing they way they do things, I still feel burned by the 970 thing
