Who's got the oldest PSU?

I'm using a Corsair 550w PSU (forget the exact model number) in a system that was built in November 2008. I'd say I've got my moneys worth out of it. Same for all the components.

its a good bet that it's a VX550, I believe it was the first of many PSU's made for Corsair by CWT. They did go down in quality a bit after that model, but when JonnyGuru himself started working for Corsair & he is now Director of their PSU engineering section, I would give serious thought about buying Corsair PSU's again.

I don't use my desktop as much I used to but it's still had some serious mileage. Had planned to get a whole new system this year but hoping it will hold out another year while I get other tech gear first.

I've just replaced an 11 year old OCZ ModXStream Pro 600w. I've seen terrible reviews of them not lasting but mine has been great. I've only replaced it now because I'm upgrading my GPU. It still works fine!

Still got one of those Hyper Type R 480w PSU's running in a spare system. Remember buying it second hand from eBay. Not sure how old it is, but it still works despite being the victim of a coolant leak at some point.

I had the '700W' version. Crap PSU. It only supplied 552W on the 12V rail despite being called a "700W". By comparison my current 750W XFX has 744W on the 12V rail.

It should have been called a 550W not a 700W, your '600W' actually only supplies the same as a decent 500W, and the '500W' only supplies 430W.

Still rockin' my Crsair HX620 modular PSU from 2007 in my rig in sig - this is the third system I've put it in and never had an issue and I game all the time.

It's my main rig, used at least 5 days a week since I bought it too. Amazing value.

I'm rocking my OCZ 750W ZS PSU still. Bronze rated. Apparently this is a 2011 model and the company shut down shortly after.

Must be 12 years and counting, but now it's powering a 7900 XT + Ryzen 5700X.

I'm not sure about its early life - I bought it as part of a used FX-8350 build back in 2014 when I decided to move back to a desktop PC from my laptop .

Its heaviest load must have been having the FX-8350 + 2 x GTX 970s in SLI, which it handled with no problem.

Nowadays, a Ryzen 5700X + 7900XT should be a cake walk in comparison.

Mine saw me right through AM4 last system it powered was a 5950x 7900xt.

AM5 was it's downfall though for some reason. Got crashes as soon as it was under load so never quite made it to 10 years. Still did me proud.

Superflower Leadex 1000w from 2013. No issues at all although it has seen many systems. Hurray for modular cabling!
Ive got an EVGA SuperNova G2 1000w PSU still going strong in my system. Don't remember exactly now but it would have been bought around 2012/13. Should be pretty much the same as yours but with EVGA branding :)
