Why are YOU single?

The ex-girlfriend and I broke up at the end of August and I'm not looking to hop into another relationship anytime soon. Quite happy as I am for now :)
 
The thing i find the worst is i want someone to find me because i can't be bothered to go and find them and it's recently hit me that i'll never find anyone if i don't get my arse in gear.

So, to anyone who may be able to relate to that, it's a new year - time for the fun to start :D
 
I just tend not to meet women, my activites are work, out with mates (mostly male) and not a lot else!

I also blame Neil, as he set me up with a girl recently. Everything was going well, I asked her out and she said no!

So that's why I'm still single :p

You could've asked them to cut your hours! But yeah January is quite dead so less hours to go around. I'm gonna stop overhauling the thread anyway!!

In relation to the thread, tisn't hard to see why most people feel like the comments in here. Most women around these days seem to just go out with someone, cheat, and then move on. Found out 10 mins ago my mate's just been cheated on by his missus of like 2 years.. :(
 
I'm not single at the moment but I will be pretty soon when I up and leave from London to Sydney. Just doing it for the adventure and I hate to be leaving her behind but maybe someday our paths will cross again, who knows. We both don't want to commit to a long distance relationship since I have no idea how long I'll be there (1 year minimum) and she is looking to move to New York or Singapore - ah well, gotta live your own life I guess!

Looking back, I was single all the way though my teens, I didn't have as much interest as my best friends who, bar one or two, had long term girlfriends through their late teens. I only met my first girlfriend at the start of my third year of university which would have been just after my 21st birthday.

I don't know what the future holds as I would never approach girls in clubs/pubs. Both of my girlfriends (ex and current) have been through work (first was in my class at uni, second I met during my first few months at work).
 
Not single, but I probably will be in about 10 months cause of uni...

When I was single it was because I preferred having little 1-2 month flings with different girls, and didn't really want to be limited tbqh. None of them were really right for me. The hottest one was the most boring, the one I got on best with ended up having very different views to me, etc.

Found someone who is right for me now :)
