you live with a cat and dog? I dont get it either

Dont look for a girlfriend. Its a waste of time. just go with the flow and it'll happen.

Yea, I can't help feeling that does work best sometimes. I have a good group of friends and one day one of them bought along a new friend, when we went out to a club. Few weeks later we were going out - she's a lovely one too :D

Turns out she also went to the same Salsa group I did - except I'd stopped going the week she started - D'oh! :D ....going again now :p

Dating

Jon is bad at dating, even though he believes himself to be a smooth-talking ladies' man. He has even been classified in his High School Yearbook as "Most likely to date a kitchen appliance", given that no one else will remain on a date with him. He is usually rejected when trying to get dates with women, perhaps because of his ridiculous pick-up lines, his loud and flashy outfits, or his habit of extolling the virtues of stamp collecting. He has resorted to many desperate measures in getting a date; begging, pleading, crying, and threats to his personal health are quite common while he is talking on the phone. His biggest crush is on Dr. Liz Wilson, Garfield and Odie's vet, who has gone out with him (unsuccessfully) a few times. Two of Jon's very rare dating successes were in TV specials: with Owooda in Garfield in Paradise and with Mona in Garfield Gets a Life.

In the comic strips, Jon finally got a date with his other long-time crush, Ellen (who was suffering from amnesia and forgot who Jon was). During their date, he saw Liz at the same restaurant with another man. Jon told Liz about his feelings for her, and she admitted she cared for Jon also. As of June 2008, they remain a couple.

Last year I had the same problem…… Too the Internet I went.. Erm, epic failure, Internet Dating was a failure in all but one way. It taught me, with the stern advice from a few O/C members on here when I posted about my frustrations that all you need to know is –

Your looks mean nothing
Confidence, personality and Sense of Humour are everything
Don’t try to find a girlfriend
Expect nothing
Be yourself, but be confident to a point where you do not become arrogant

With this, you’ll charm the panties off any girl if she is “slightly” interested……. Its that simple. If only I’d realised all of this 12 months ago, saved myself a lot of pain…

You needn’t worry about your physical looks, its all about presentation. How you come across is worth more then how you look, and make um giggle, it’ll really turn um on to you..

Girls also like to drone on about themselves. You need to remember, girls at your age are just as eager to find themselves someone to be with just the same as you, and are keen to make sure you don’t need to put trust on your hands anymore to stimulate you when you’re lonely…. They want it just as much as you matey….

So stop trying, and make um laugh, be confident and, well I’m sure you know the rest….

*this advice is only from what everyone else from O/C told me a few months back, so if wrong, blame them…… lol my disclaimer..

To be honest, that more or less sums it up. Oh, one other thing - listen and don't talk about yourself too much.

to be honest your not ugly but no god's gift either!
I met my wife in a club but, she was with her sister and i manaqed to talk to her. I didnt try and get my tongue down her throat and to be honest i made sure of that. This wasn't too long after my previous relationship ended.
just play it calm get them laughing but not in a sleazy way. suttle hints of you liking them go a lot further than chat up lines everyone has heard before.
if it doesnt work out for you. they will not tell thier friends how creepy you were.
Beleive me the more frequently you go to a club the more you look like a permanent fixing at the end of the bar.
Women can see desperation a mile off!

the main thing is do you want to be nailing loads of girls or have a relationship. two very different things.

what do you do when you walk past a group of 10 girls all dolled up stood outside a resturant all looking their best and they say "whit woo your fit"

obviously yeh... theres 10 of them... and there enjoying their night...?

You just leave it and walk on? Obviously say Hello Ladies! but apart from that... just walk on and ignore. I take it the rule is... if the girl wants you let them chase you?

Because that guys... has never ever worked.
