People stop being so stupid and comparing a Mac to a windows system, they are aimed at different audiences.

You might like one better than the other but that dose not make it a fact that its better than the other one.

Theirs a place for both system in this world.

And yea they both do what theyre supposed to, just the other is quite abit more reliable most of the time, which is why these threads are pointless as theyre is always going to be mac and windows fans.

Most people complain it's too fast since it decides how far to move the mouse depending on the speed you move. You can up the speed in preferences as well.

What I found is that after a certain length of time you get used to all the changes from Windows.

And too many people clinging onto the hope that if someone had used a mac, would "see the light". I've used Macs in school and college and I use computers heavily and regularly. I've come to the conclusion that they're both very good but I still can't understand why someone would buy one over a PC? in a PC you can have the same.. but for cheaps!

And yeah that Mac mouse algorithm is wierd. Acceleration and deceleration is that? useless when trying to actually click on something

Could not care less if they saw the light or not but dosent stop the face that they haven used one so cant comment on why its better or not.

Were you using the apple mouse? if so ANYONE who gets a mac get a decent mouse lol apple mice suck big time.

well this thread is just going in cricles.

at the end of the day like's already been said, the mac can't do anything a PC can't, but the PC can do more, and is cheaper,

and don't say macs are better finish etc... you can get some pretty nicely built PC's like Vadim's etc...

I think too many people haven't actually used a Mac

You can have a good looking pc (you can even build one inside a mac case if you want), there are also compact pcs, you can have your pc as quiet as you like and dont tell me theres more software for Mac OS.

Not really. You're just used to what it's like in Windows so it seems weird. It felt wrong when I first started using Macs but after time it becomes second nature.

Now I can move around the screen quicker than on Windows and it's great for stuff like Expose.

I switched from PC to mac back in January and will never go back...mac does everything I need it to do and if I ever have to use windows only apps I can run it in vmware fusion. What I wanted was something reliable, something that works straight out of the box, no need for antispyware/virus checkers and a laptop that looks slick too. Ok my MacBook Pro maybe wouldn't be up there for gaming but so far I think that mac osx is just excellent. All this slagging off pc v mac is a load of tush to be honest. They are only computers after all. Some you guys gotta get a life and find something more important to argue about! There is an awful lot more to life that you pc guys slating mac users when obviously too many of you have never used ones yourselves.

Mac OS dosent have more software, and are you saying macs are noisy lol?

Yeah, point withdrawn. Both Mac OS and windows have their good and bad sides.
