I much prefer the PS controller, though the DS3 is much better than the standard one as it has more weight. As above I also don't like the ergonomic-ness of the 360 pad. Yes, it is more comfy to hold firmly, yes it puts less strain on your hands after heavy use. But it just doesn't feel right somehow. Perhaps having used the same controller since the PS1 has done something to my mind!
We should breed the two controllers together to spawn a controller with the 360's ergonomics and triggers, with the PS3's d-pad and buttons.
Just d-pad.
that's just odd. Those are 2 of the reasons it is a better pad.
I read the whole thing.Selective reading for the win.
What do people think is wrong with it?
It's clunky and unprecise. Playing SF2 with the 360's d-pad is an experience i'd like to forget.

Who the hell cares where the left thumbstick is. I can't for the life of me figure out what is so wrong about its position.
Because sony are a Japanese company and develop their controllers in the typically blind Japanese fashion of neglecting everyone outside of Japan with normal sized hands. The PS3 pad is horrible for any men with normal/large hands.
This, if you like the ps3 pad you are either a women, midget or not a real man.
