Why you SHOULD be using Firefox

Since v138, has anybody had any login problems with outlook.com and saved passwords?

Normally when you go to outlook.com, you click on Sign in at the top right, then click on the email field to choose the email address, then on the next page choose the password and you're in. But the email field remains blank for me when I click on it and I have to manually enter my email address - the password field on the next page works fine though.

Not had those issues but since 138 I sporadically get the Windows setup a pin prompt for sites where I use my MS email address despite having those options all disabled which is annoying.

I tested this just now and the outlook sign in page forwards me to login.microsoftonline.com whereas my credentials are saved under login.live.com. Firefox is obviously treating these as different websites as it should. It would be a huge security hole if it didn't. :p

After manually entering your email address, you're forwarded back to login.live.com so firefox can autofill your password safely.

Web browsers has got to be the most sheeple software people run?
Load one and never change?

Must admit I've tried the others but just go back to chrome.

I find it difficult to believe the amounts they get and still cry poor. How many billons do they need to maintain an opensource browser. I know browsers are one of the most complicated applications but the amounts they go though is crazy.

Haven't tested to see if a Firefox or YouTube thing but last 3-4 days getting pages on YouTube where none of the links works and right clicking on them doesn't bring up a context menu for a hyperlink either, have to refresh to make it work.

Its been years that it hasn’t worked but the favicon for Santander when you add it to you’re bookmarks tool bar doesn’t display the icon.

It used to work years ago but never figured out a fix.

Any ideas?

It could be related to this issue.

Although the favicon works fine in Edge.

I've been using Chrome for years at this point with Firefox just my extra browser for when I want different sessions...

Time to look again perhaps.

I was then about to check if anyone else was having issues... yep can't even get signed in, just goes into a loop back to the homepage... funnily enough it works fine on edge, more than likely more MS trying to increase marketshare again....
