Why you SHOULD be using Firefox

I just cant get on with Firefox anymore, it used to be my chosen browser but it feels bloated, clunky and slow, maybe its just me, Edge Chromium all the way.

I had most of my crashes on FF, ever since I changed to Chromium based browser no more crashes, in the old days of Firefox you had to disable hardware acceleration, took them ages to fix that.

End of the day you have to decide what's the highest priority on your list ie stability, customisation, support, privacy etc ....

Although I don't use Facebook, I am liking the fact that you can now add sites to the exception list in Facebook Container. I play a game which requires Facebook login and I made a fake FB account just for the game so I could progress through the levels.

I'm back on FF after my brief fling with that spyware called Chrome.

Don't forget to wear a tin foil hat and dig a tunnel when you go outside, those satellites are everywhere, they will track and spy on you in many different ways.

Btw I hope you did mean Chrome and not Chromium ;) .

Well after the tracking news about Google I’m surprised more people haven’t switched.

I’m going to give it a go see how well it works iOS/windows with sync n stuff I think.

Though brave is out for IOS so will try this as well see how well this works too.

Glaring privacy issues in Edge apparently.
And people question why I won't use a Microsoft account to sign-in to Windows, or use Google Chrome.

The old if you've nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about argument is a bit long in the tooth these days as people use it as n umbrella argument for privacy. What happened to caring about your privacy and data?

There is no privacy, if you think you are safe, then what happens when you go out ie cameras everywhere or pay by credit card etc, there are plenty of ways they track you, I gave up worrying about it a long time ago, better for your health ;) .

I agree, but I do try my best without inconveniencing myself as much as possible.

DO any of you guys have a thing with firefox being pinned to the taskbar and occasionally it will decide it can't find firefox any more when you left click it, but right click the pin and click firefox and it launches fine...

after it's launched repin fixes it just seems weird as hell that a left click is seemingly a different command to right click the same icon and click launch.

maybe firefox stealth updates and breaks it though

I typically use chrome for personal stuff, and FF for work (software dev). I was using the ff dev version, but that updated and it is a white screen that you can do nothing with (real useful).

I don't really like that i am just a source of revenue for Google, but i have no real issue with chrome.
