Wii Fit - Who`s Ordered?

It's pressure sensitive, so a snowboarding game like SSX could probably be quite easily coded to use that as the movement controls.

I hope so. :)

As you are unable to jump on it, I can see a config where you control direction and turning on the board, then flicking the remote to do jumps and tricks.

We could also see some kind of Tony Hawks game, or surfing etc.

What about a Segway Simulator :D

Well I pre-ordered this back in Feb and my order is currently being picked and packed so hopefully it will be on it's way to me for tomorrow. :D

Yes although it is expensive for a game I do think that if game developers do create games that can incorporate this device it will be an amazing addition to the wii.

OK, I`ll admit, its quiet at work, and my retro gaming brain is working overtime. How about:

Re-make Paperboy, replacing the bike with a Segway, controlled by the board. Break as many windows as you can by throwing newspapers with the remote, whist avoiding hazards in the street. Extra bonus if you hit the household pet.

What do you think? Have I missed my true vocation :D:D

you wont get it before the 25th

I personally believe the delay in Japan getting it, and it coming to the US and EU is because they had to reinforce the balance board :p

does the same price difference apply to the console and indeed most things we pay for?

stupid game, 2 month life span at best!

is'nt it just a box on the floor though? how you intending to have ssx working with it?

Wow so it is a stupid game that you seem to know absolutely nothing about. What a great contribution.

bet it won't remain pressure sensitive for an 18 stoner such as myself

official review yes, watch this space.
How exactly is your weight going to stop the electronics from working? If you mis-use it and snap the thing then that is your fault, not the games fault.

Eurogamer already reviewed it with an 8/10.

I'll ignore most of your post cause you just a tad angry over nothing and just say this. I don't read reviews I can't trust them, I buy games which I think I might enjoy playing.

Whats wrong with real sport anyway, or the gym

I bought guitar hero and quickly realised hey if I bought a real guitar, I could one day play this for real same applys here.

Not at all angry, I just feel that posts like yours need commenting on for being totally ignorant of the facts. Why comment on a game that you know nothing about?

There is nothing wrong with real sport (though i personally can't stand the gym) and this is no substitute. It is a game primarily but if it gets some people off their arses and gives others enjoyment then what is the problem with it?
What does it matter whether you trust reviews or not, i was posting it for the benefit of the thread and as an "Official review" that was talked about.

I have no intention of buying this but to say it is a "stupid game" when you have not played it and didn't even realise how the thing works is a waste of a post and too many people post similar things about other games as well. Now, if you went and played it and came back saying the same thing (and crucially why you thought it) then it would be worth posting and i'd not need to point out the ignorance.

Guitar hero is nothing like playing a real guitar though... you can get good at Guitar Hero with a lot less practice than with a real guitar and even when you are not good you and your friends can enjoy playing it. Games are all about fun after all.

UK price = £70 ($140)
US price = $90

No thanks, Nintendo.
Thats very unfair comparison if you look at the current exchange rates and longer term economic differences. Better comparing the European price in a place like Germany/France etc.
