I didn't rip in to you, i just pulled you up for being misinformed/ignorant of the facts.

I always pull people up for talking rubbish about something they know little about. Maybe next time you want to comment on a game that you have an unjustified disliking for, you will actually educate yourself on the product so you can make an informed decision. Then i'll listen to your opinion because it is valid.

So anyway, now you actually know a bit more about what the game involves, why exactly is it "stupid" and why will it only have a "2 month life span"?
Also, what is your problem if people want the game? Are you scared that casual gamers will take over "your hobby". It it certainly the mentality of some seasoned gamers.

To those that are buying the game, are you buying it for the fitness aspect, the mini-games (skiing looks like fun) or so you can have the board for future games?

EDIT: You think the pressure sensitive pad is mainly for press ups? It is not. It is used extensively to make sure you are doing the Yoga exercises correctly and is also used for the mini-games. Skiing, marble mania type thing and hula-hoops thing among others. You really need to go find out more about the game.

Anyone got one ordered from g*m* ? I was wondering when it should arrive? the tracking number for parcelforce shows no info at the moment
 
I have and finally my tracking number has started to show some activity. what is funny is that the expected delivery date was due on the 22nd and the latest progress shows it is sorted at the hub so hopefully it is out for delivery today.
 
Ive just checked mine and it has been updated to show the same, it would be nice if it was delivered today. Are they allowed to do that, if the release dates is not till tomorrow?

I am a true romantic :D

Seriously though, she is overweight. She knows it, and is doing something about it. I have encouraged her over the last 18 monts and she has lost nearly 2 stone. She also goes to fat fighters once a week. This is part of my ongoing encouragement. ;)

Plus, and more importantly, its something we can do together, and have a laugh at the same time. I could do with shedding a little also. I am not that naive as to expect miracles, but if it makes us more active, that can only be a good thing. As I have got older, its all to easy to get home and sit in front of the TV/PC, then go to bed. The boxing on wii sports proved to me that it can have a positive effect. I defy anydody but the fittest to do an hour on boxing and not "feel it" the following morning. :D
 
So anyone have this? Sainsburys where i work , orderd 40 of these in today and were sold out just gone after 3pm. Persoanlly i'm going to wait for more reviews as i dont believe in this product atm
 
Mine arrived this morning and i'm quite impressed. It's very sturdily build and works very well. I've spent about an hour playing around with it tonight and i've got to admit, it is great fun! - not sure how long the novelty will last however.
 
Some sad people will be off down the supermarket shortly to see if they can get one.......

Oh wait, thats me :D

i've also had a do on wii fit at work.as northstar said its build quality is excellent ,first time use is intriguing .
once i found out my bmi and weight and played a few games that was it

Believe it or not, there was a queue. I got there at 11.30 ish and I was not the first. About 10 in total.

They had stock of about 30.
