Wildstar New MMO (NCSoft and Carbine Studios)

Just tried some BGs - what a complete and utter cluster****. Throw in the awful breakout mechanic and the chances of this gamne holding my attention long-term have just taken a huge nose dive. :(

I originally thought that, and in some ways it is. But once you understand classes and what's going on it not to hard to remove yourself from the telegraph spam and think tactically... just follow the green :)

@Nemesis any chance you can enable logs on the guild bank for members? Would be nice to see who's using the stuff we put in.

Are you sure you cant see the logs, as its under logs then click the type of info you want to see, most of it being under Immortals bank (there is 3 choices money, repairs & Immortals bank)
Let me know.

Worth a read. Basically they are changing the way loot drops from dungeons. I think its great, no more punishing groups for failing gold (which lets be honest, is the only rating currently worth it) and people leave. Completing the run gives good loot, doing it to a medal level gives more. Essentially there is always a reason to finish.

I couldnt see the logs earlier when i looked

Cant see anywhere in guild settings to change to view, tested on a different account (missus) and could see it.

Need to try with a new character that at members rank, but looking in either logs/guild management/members setting there is no option to change log view.

So we didn't clear the dungeon last night :( we got all the way to the last boss and where wiping within the boss phase. Rest of the dungeon took some time but all in all was a good 3 hours...great talking on team speak last night!

Oh nd the dps where PUGs on tank nd healer as the guilders haha

Just got an Engineer to 15 and have to say the pets are a huge pain in the arse. I always like pet classes in mmo's, Necromancer in DAoC and EQ2 especially, but have to say these are the worse pets I've ever had. The get "lost" often, draw more aggro than a drunk Geordie, and the controls you have over them are not great. I still like the class though so shall have this as an alt.

They really are the worst pets in any game I've ever played. When I was playing Engineer I found it easier to go for a petless build most of the time :/

Go to keybindings, set pet action 2 and 3 to your keybinds.
2 tells your pets to stop what they're doing and come to your position, 3 desummons all pets instantly (ALWAYS do this between trash packs in dungeons).

Managing pets isn't as simple as it first looks. It isn't just summon and then use their special ability on cooldown. There's an intended skill curve with positioning / keeping them alive.

I think you're doing them a big favour here.

There isn't a learning or skill curve. They're just a buggy mess. SPA 2 barely works

My friend in leveling an Engineer and her pets seem to have twice the aggro radius of her character. I've seen it first hand, mobs run straight past her character and aggro the bot.

There's meant to be a fix for the pets coming but like most things they've been saying that since beta.

There's an addon you can get that adds a desummon button to make it easier in the meantime.

I have pretty much the setting he had, so find them easy to control, if you run everywhere with them out you going to agro lots of mobs, yes I agree they may have a bigger agro radius, but mostly it's about the angles while players go around mobs, pets take the direct route, so they will end up agro'ing loads.
