I was pleased to see the bunting going up in Nantwich town centre yesterday. We had commonwealth flags a few months ago. This time it is Union Jacks only.

The town having recovered from its well attended annual Easter jazz and blues festival looks set for another party in May.

I think it’s all a bit irrelevant and redundant however… it’s a party!

Not my jam of choice but happy to go along with the fun of others.

not sure if the just stop oil folks will have any beef - they're like the Spanish inquisition.

The new formula is made with olive oil, pressed just outside Bethlehem. It has been perfumed with essential oils including sesame, rose, jasmine, cinnamon, neroli, benzoin and amber, as well as orange blossom.
The “chrism oil” was created using olives harvested from two groves on the Mount of Olives, a mountain ridge to the east of Jerusalem’s Old City, a place that holds religious importance to Christians.

Well I've changed my mind, I may watch it now. What with anti-monarchists and just stop oil potentially protesting it may be fun viewing.

Must buy some popcorn to watch democracy at work. :)

Whenever people moan about the monarchy i say that they are where they are because of ^ and to raise an army and kick them off the throne. Generally a bit a confused look and then nothing.

Its true though isn't it?

Yep, I'm currently getting my 100 tanks out of storage for this particular move.

tragic for the monarchy the yes vote is still being destroyed by the pancake vote. Maybe OCUK forum could spend the whole of 8th may making pancakes and seeing who got the best one, because it looks the majority of people will either be down the pub or doing anything else but watching charles start probably the shortest reign for a monarch in modern history

The question, to remind you, was asking if you would be putting bunting up, not whether you would be watching the coronation. I won't be doing the former, but will the latter.
