***Wimbledon 2017 Official Thread***

Don't know much about Rybarikova or Vandeweghe but the other women's quarters all look really tasty on paper.

Konta's got a real battle on her hands with Halep and Williams will be a really good test for Ostapenko on grass.

Remove Serena from the equation and women's tennis becomes interesting for a change.

Centre court starts at 12 tomorrow:
Djokovic/Mannarino
Williams/Ostapenko
Konta/Halep

Court one:
Muguruza/Kuznetsova
Rybarikova/Vandeweghe

Vandeweghe beat Konta 6-1 6-3 at Birmingham a few weeks back so she can play.

Vandeweghe is my tip for the womens so you know what's going to happen now :D

Thought I'd carry my Muller winnings over from yesterday and whack them on him again tomorrow. If he plays the same great serve and volley game he played yesterday, Cillic is going to find it massively hard to deal with, although he does possess that god like backhand...

I think this Djokovic match is going to be a walk over for him. 20 minutes played and it's already 4-1.

After 37 minutes, Djokovic wins first set 6-2.

Surely he’ll be fatigued? I’d be backing the other fella!

I'd agree if he hadn't looked so immeasurably composed throughout the entire match... He's part of the old guard. Stamina seems to pair especially well with older tennis players. He's probably played a ton of games like that which most of us have never even seen.

That's because she feels she's having to go for more because Halep is very good at running down shots that would beat quite a few other players.

Good match this

Such a shame the Women don't get to play 5 sets, particularly in the latter stages of the slams. They miss out on being able to create some epic contests. Just imagine how different Nadal's match yesterday would have been as a best of 3.

One more chance to break. I don't fancy Konta's chances in another tie break. Halep is playing the big points just a little bit better.
