***Wimbledon 2017 Official Thread***

Today is a great day for watching Tennis as it's the last 16. All the big male and female hitters are playing.

Konta on Court 1 now, 4-3 up in set 1.

Murray - Centre Court @ 2.15pm
Nadal - Court 1 @ 2.15pm
Federer - Centre Court @ 3.45pm
Djokovic - Court 1 @ 3.45pm

Yes, I think you're right, that will probably happen.

14 seed Muguruza just knocked number 1 seed Kerber out of the competition.

Put a bet on Dimitrov regardless. Not to take anything away from Fed, of course. Dimitrov is just one of my favourite players to watch these days.

Wow, that's pretty big news. Was trying to get today of last week as knew there'd be some good matches going. Sneaking looks at iPlayer when I can...

Konta through. First British female to reach the 1/4 finals since 1984.

Murray v Paire, 4-0 in first set tie break.

Great win for Jo Konta. Her opponent was much better than I thought she would be so Jo had to play well to win that.

She did well, just as she did against her previous opponent. Showed some grit and determination; something that Heather Watson lacks. She has the ability to be a better player, but she just collapses too often.

I don't know why but I really love it when Murray does his mini collapse. So funny to watch.

Really surprised how good Paire was but glad Murray's through, needs to work on his serve though.

Only just started watching the Nadal game but I'd love to know how much the cooler temperature's impacting his game today.

Wow, Nadal now has to take it to a 5th set and win 3 consecutively or he's out. I really thought this might be his year.

Played a few years ago in the semi finals I believe. Seem to remember Murray being a set and a break up and he completely lost his head about something then got battered.

Edit: 2011, 6 years ago

Pretty sure I didn't watch that but looking at the head to head, they played in the semis at the 2014 French and I probably saw that one.

Nadal up a break in the 3rd. The comeback is on. :p
