1. Why do you want to win a Corsair Professional Series HX+ 850W '80+ Gold' Modular PSU?

I want to win the HX850w to replace my TX650m. Reason being, Im soon to buy 2x GPU's that require 2x 6pin PCi power. Now as we all know the TX650 only has 2 dedicated PCi power cables and as much as I trust the TX, Im not the biggest fan of running GPU's from molex adapters. Plus this will give me the nudge to buy the HX braided cable set :)

C'mon...really?
The power deliver is soo smooth with all of Corsairs PSU's, after monitoring my TX through a rigorous benching session, I noticed a couple of fluxuations, but they were extremely minimal and when rounded to 3 decimal places (to which most companies work to now-a-days), there wasnt a change.
Plus....7 year warranty, to go with my slamepad (which I bought and didnt win -.-), this will outlive my PC.

1. Because I'm awaiting my MSI GTX 660ti, I ordered from you guys, and will be building a new rig. This is the PSU I was looking at, and would really help in keeping my build in budget :)!

2. It helps with OC'ing especially because of the high output - this basically means I can OC my CPU, GPU and RAM without the need of worrying about power. Especially if I have an intensive video render.
Finally, the PSU will help keeping the system under control, due to the great parts within the HX850.
On top of that, mum and dad will be happy, as it is a very efficient PSU (sometimes over 90% efficient, which beats its own gold standard)

A1. Well the first reason is I am currently in the middle of building my first self built gaming pc and fully intend to over clock it as well. Also I am getting a corsair case and cpu cooler so would go with them just nicley!

My current HX620 is starting to show its age now with its limited cables and expired warranty and occasional cap squeal. I'd love to have the power and efficiency of the HX+ 850 plus the additional modular cables wouldn't go a miss for later expansions.
The silent under 20% load wouldn't go a miss either

Corsair being Corsair wouldn't give a 7 year warranty on a product that couldn't handle itself which this PSU appears to do, just check out all the reviews all with positive things to say about the high efficiency, good ripple suppression, peak usage of 900w and its close to perfect Voltage variation.

Because it's a great PSU and I'd love to have one! It's also Gold Efficiency which means a great upgrade from Silver which would mean smaller Energy bills!!!
I also like to have best components in particular range and this power supply has been awarded Best in Class award!

I overclocked my microwave once. You should have seen the cats face. it wasn't happy cause i burnt the fish for it's dinner. nearly took my eye out the vicious little S.O.B.
It's great for overclocking because it's got a 7 year warranty. you can run this b1tch to within an inch of it's life, safe in the knowledge that you can just RMA it, swearing on your grandma's soul it had an easy life. We all know the truth.
It's got japanese flux capacitors enriched with uranium in it. they weren't supposed to be nuclear but the factory was in fukushima. I could be telling a lie here.

Because I'm losing hair, sleep, and sanity over the lack of adequate cable management in my case caused by my non modular (but excellent quality) Corsair TX750! Every time I open the beast to put something new in I get out of breath with the huffing and puffing of connecting/disconnecting/moving/tidying that I have to do (not to mention grazed knuckles from the case innards). Have mercy!!!!

My Enermax Galaxy is old, massive and noisy. I want something that not only looks good but runs quietly and efficiently.

Corsair have a great reputation for reliability. Added to that this PSU uses industrial components and is 80+ Gold rated.

Scotty says I need more power and as it is more efficient than my current setup it will save on the energy bills, by my calculations that's a saving of around £14.82 pa ;)
