*WIN* Bitfenix Shinobi XL Gaming Case! *RUNNER UP PRIZE ADDED - SHINOBI USB 3.0 ** - WINNER ANNOUNC

Being a complete n00b to watercooling, aside from the AIO units made by Antec I would have to ask here for help on what to put in it. However, if your going to do anything you might as well do it properly so I would certainly be looking to fill it with lots of decent gear, and pretty sure you can NEVER have too many radiators ;)

Hey, that was my idea (post 36).

Raising the stakes with with your fishy imagery is just plain unfair on us unartistic folk;)

remember i had to do the pic and post it (time taken ) ;) guess great minds must think alike :p i just uploaded after your post .

as for making in in reality im tempted tbh cant see it being too hard to do :)

supose it could be a great fun thing in the office

1x300mm rad in the roof
Alphacool Repack - Dual Laing D5 res
Bitpower compresion fittings
Mayhems Aurora - Tharsis Red Coolant
EK Supreme LTX CPU Waterblock - to help keep with the stealthy style of this case.
Full Cover Mobo water block
Full Cover GFX water block

Depends if you wan't it to function as a PC as well. You'll have to find fish that like cool when its swithched off but don't mind spending their time with a flat out CPU and GPU.

Oh niiiice....

If I won this, I would finally be able to watercool my system!! I've got a CM690 now which won't take a 360 rad, which I NEEED to cool my 2500K that I'm buying when I decide on a motherboard to go with it as well as my graphics cards, which if I could watercool, would give me the confidence to finally go SLi! (I'm having heat problems, so cant do that yet...) - This would help me complete my orange and black build and at the same time allow me to help my family out by having my current case out...

My case currently includes orange BitFenix fans, and all my cables are orange BitFenix braided cables.. I have been a big BitFenix fan for some time, and this would be awesome if I could expand my BitFenix range :D

I don't want to emotionally spend money on something I probably won't be able to get, but I'll be looking for at least 1x 360mm and 1x 240mm radiators with orange piping and I would ask advice on what pumps and reservoirs in the watercooling section of this forum....

X2O 750 Dual 5.25″ bay Reservoir Pump
Swiftech Apogee HD Universal CPU Waterblock (White)
EK CoolStream RAD XTX 240mm Dual Radiator : XTX 240 (bottom and top)
Bitspower 1/4" Thread Compression Fitting for 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD Tubing Matte Black
Mayhems Ice White Pastel dye
Clear 1/2" tubing

My dream build
Currently repping the stock Intel cooler \m/,

If i won this id love to try a passive setup with a modded 480 up top and a 360 in the front going onto dual full waterblocked 6850's in xfire and a ek supreme cooling the i5 2500k. As for colour scheme id go Green and Black on this one, with a dual bay waterfall res, bitfenix alchemy cables, and spectre led green fans.

360 rad in roof
240 on front
D5 + clear top
ek supreme hf copper plexi
phobya tube res
ek compression fittings
2x ek full cover 6970 blocks
aurora red
5x phobya 120 red pwm fans
overclockers oblong badge for front :)

If I had a Shinobi XL and no budget limits to watercool I'd use as many parts from German companies as I could to make a project out of it
Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 360mm in front
Alphacool NexXxoS UT 45 or 60 360mm in roof (depends on room)
BitFenix Spectre Pro's on both rads
2x Alphacool VPP655 single edition Laing D5 + a dual pump top
Alphacool Cape Corp Coolplex Pro 25 LT reservoir (along the top next to the rad if there's room)
Watercool Heatkiller CPU block rev 3
Watercool Heatkiller block for the graphics card
7/16" tubing
1/2" Alphacool barbs
Coolant would probably be Mayhems pastel
And I'd add a window (without fan mounts), use a BeQuiet PSU and paint the mesh strips red and the BitFenix logo yellow. And BitFenix could show it off at CeBit if it turned out well :p

Whoa what a nice looking case, I would put:

1X XSPC EX360 120mm Radiator - Black
1X 12V Alphacool Laing D5 Vario Pump 655
1X EK-D5 X-Top V2 - Black Acetal G1/4
1X EK Supreme HF CPU Waterblock - Copper Plexi
1X Phobya Single Bay Reservoir - Multi Fascia
3X Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm 1450 RPM - 3 Pin Fans
1X Mayhems Ultra Pure H20 Watercooling Fluid
2X XSPC 7/16" ID [16/11mm] Clear
8X OcUK 1/2" Barbed Fitting G1/4 - FatBoy Style - Black Nickel Finish

hmmmmmmmm been a long time since i last water cooled but i think it'd compliment a case likes this quite well.

What i'd put inside:
EK Supreme HF CPU Waterblock - Nickel Plexi
EK-FC7970 Full Cover Waterblock - Nickel Plexi
Watercool HEATKILLER® MB-SET ASUS-P8P67 / Z68 LT Motherboard Waterblocks
D5 Vario Pump & Alphacool Clear HF D5 Top
Hardware Labs Black ICE SR-1 360 Radiator
EK Dual Bay Spin Reservoir
Masterkleer Hose Pack PVC 15,9/11mm (7/16ID) UV-Reactive White
+whatever additional fixings were required
EDIT: forgot fans, Sharkoon Silent Eagle SE Modular 120mm Fan x however many the case + rad can take.
Assuming that all works together ok (im a bit out of the "loop" with watercooling....pun intended :p)
