Can't wait to try this on my i5 750 @ 4GHz. The only game where I am CPU bottlenecked big time is the division (dx 12 has helped massively for this already though) and all those open world ARMA/dayz/miscreated/battlegrounds type of games.
Yeah no doubt there is some more bottle necking going on especially for min fps but I can play most games with a constant 50+ FPS 90% of the time with the majority of settings turned up (no AA and I generally drop from the ultra preset to very high/high as usually there is little difference in IQ). This is with a 290 @ 2560x1080.I think you would be surprised by how much that is bottle necking you in virtually all games. My i7 860 at 4.0GHz was under utilised so I too thought it wasn't a problem. I got a 6600k and doubled frame rates in some games, and tripled minimums. I made a thread about it with a good suite of benchmarks.

Thanks.Yep, here it is. Still annoyed i accidentally left V sync on when benching Dirt!

This is pretty cool, even if I'm only CPU limited in maybe 1 game (cities skylines) with my 4.5GHz 6600k.
Mid April I think, maybe 11th, forgot now.Has an ETA been given for this yet? Sounds promising.
