I was too furious and ordered the xbox one version so am now in that boat and there's no turning back
I'd been considering the upgrade for a year as been fed up with the dpad design for ages but just could not justify the cost of the xb1 pad until last night! This pushed me to the shopping basket lol.You gave up too easily
Although it says " HID Compliant " as it it is a forced driver install without signatures, it is being picked up as a XBOX 360 Controller just fine ( Works perfectly in Streets of Rage 4 ).
Apparently big changes if you use WSL which is now WSL2. For the rest of us, pretty much nothing.
@LoadsaMoney what does yours say?
I thought there where some gaming updates, like a new DX12 version etc?
'Ultimate'
Due to these issues, Microsoft is putting compatibility hold on Windows 10 devices that may be affected by these bugs. The company has also advised not to manually install the update using the Update Now button or the Media Creation Tool until the issue that affects your particular machine has been addressed.
^Don't see why you couldn't use an external HDD, although have never tried.
Rather than clean install if you have to revert, why not take a Macrium image or even use Windows own system image?
Currently trying out 2004 on a VM, no issues so far other than it seems to break VirtualBox's 3D acceleration.
Anybody else had the "Welcome to Windows" screen? I've had it on a couple of machines so far and I've skipped it each time.
Others are seeing the same thing too: https://www.reddit.com/r/windows/comments/fsdrk9/welcome_to_windows_screen_upon_restart_no_files/
Well i got this today when i turned on, just skipped the bugger
well Update Assistant and Media Creation Tool both refused to upgrade my laptop. So I'll just format them later after backing up a few things.
If it ain't broke, break it.
I got it as well, what?
