If I install a new SSD driver and want to put the OS on that, how do I go about doing it? I'd want to do a clean install - Can I just download the windows 10 iso and use my windows 8.1 key
So have got this right before I click "Get Windows10"
I'm currently running Windows7 Home premium. So it will "upgrade" me to Windows10 and that should activate the product. Following that if I want to do a clean install (say I fit a new SSD) then I can install from an ISO and it will activate as the full product?
Is this the ISO?

Well after giving it a few months I decided to upgrade my gaming rig over the weekend something I have yet to achieve due to the downloadable ISO / USB media creator keeps stopping due to missing files error thinking may be file corruption had a few more go’s at downloading still no joy. I will give it a second go next weekend.
Are we expecting a major update this month?
Has anyone as yet witnessed the "get updates from and send updates to" feature work on a local network yet?
If I am on the insider program is there an easy way to move the install to a new ssd? Do I have to reinstall from source media and then enable insider updates post install? Will it work?
I did a clean reinstall last night after being on an 'upgrade' since launch. The difference is huge! It's actually not terrible now![]()
