The Steelseries Engine will not work with 8.1. They are trying a fix but one needs to uninstall it before upgrading. Worked for me.
Which prices are you asking about? If it is the one I mentioned earlier, then I guess it is "as long as stocks last", which could be any-time, I suppose.

Yet it runs games faster than Windows 8 or even Windows 7. I can't stand Metro but I'd rather have the performance than being spiteful like a child.
Perhaps it is perhaps just as well you weren't installing Windows 8.1 fom floppies then, as according to an earlier post you would have needed 3711 of them!

I tried to get win8 look like win7 but failed just had to put win7 back on just don't have time to mess with it.
Which copy of windows 8 did you start with ?
