Dunno about that. I work in IT, and in an office of about 30 people the vast majority of them have a completely stock desktop. They don't change anything. Never mind non technical people and home users.
Indeed, but how many change it to the most efficient way. I'm going to guess not so many.
TBH though its one thing I don't like about the Windows Mobile. I like to customise my phone desktop too!
So what will Microsoft do with Windows RT on the tablets with regards to word processing, spreadsheet, etc? Are there metro apps of Word, Excel and stuff like Apple has with iOS Pages, Numbers, etc.

The Metro UI bits you're forced to use really aren't that difficult once you get familiar with them. Even if you do need to Google some (which I have done in the past) it takes like 20 seconds and then you know forever.
