Wings of Prey Demo in here.

I just finished downloading the 6GB demo, it actually runs from the .iso file, you just mount it and run the .exe. If you run the launcher though, it seems to want you to install it but then fails. Running from .iso works for now anyway.

Does it work with the 360 pad? I messed around with the control settings and it recognises it but the controls are all wrong.
 
@ Dano - really struggling to get my TrackIR 5 working with this what did you need to do to get it up and running?

Update your profiles in the TrackIR software, of that fails then make sure you are running the game with administrative rights.

I mounted the iso, copied all the files to my hardrive and ran it from there.
It works with the 360 pad, yeah, have you been into the options and choose "gamepad (default)" from the devices options?
 
PLayed the demo for a little while now, the Battle of the Bulge Campaign is good fun, though once a 109 gets on your tail it's hard to shake it off.

I'm running it at 5040*1050 resolution over 3 24inch screens and with the spec in my sig it runs fine with maximum detail, and a little AA.

Not sure though if it is worth $50 though, especially as I've just bought MW2 and Dragon Age Origins, maybe I'll play those for a while and see if the price comes down on this.

you would be better off copying the mounted iso folder onto another section of your hard drive and then run it from there....it auto updates and its unlikely to be able to write files to a virtual drive.

'Not very soon' according to Anton Yudintsev who is an admin over at the Yuplay forums, though considering how quickly they've been moving on other stuff that could be taken as next week lol.
 
Anyone getting crashes/freezes at all? Seems to lock up for me during the Battle of Britain campaign. Really immersive though with TrackIR, love it...
 
Nope, not had a single crash (computer wise that is... I've lost count of the aircraft I've crashed...) at all yet, seem to be having issues with unlimited ammo during the campaign though.
