Seems a pretty decent game. The demo doesn't seem to remember my control config though which is very annoying!

Very annoying, because it crashes for me too. Changing the controls each time is a pain.

why is the p51 so under powered compared to the spitfire? was it like that for real?

I think that happened to me and I changed the controls in the profile options and that seemed to stick.

Hows everyone getting on with this? I'm still on the demo and enjoying the Spitfire over the P-51.

Nate - Did you get around the lighting issue when in cockpit view? I've decided that it's all part of the simulation aspect of the game and going to live with it

this was an old Jez San game(activision from the early 1990s)it wasnt very good back then with the emphasis being on Quantity not Quality, a typical example would be how realistic falcon 4 is compared to any other flight sim including LOMAC,Falcon 4 is still the best and most indepth modern flight sim (f16)ever made,nothing comes close and i doubt nothing will come close not for a very long time if ever

wings of prey aint realistc enough for me tbh...its not a bad game though according from the demo but falcon is still king

Did anyone else play Combat Flight Simulator 3? It had very nice graphics for its time, but the campaign was a little odd.

I have it, but enjoyed the original a million times more tbh. The 3rd one seems to stutter loads on my current hardware and I can't figure out why.

I just tried this on my spec in sig and it froze after around 5-7 mins in. Great game, though assigning the 360 pad is difficult. I've dug out my Saitek Cyborg though and going to try that later.

Seems a lot of people are experiencing the freeze after x amount of minutes

Yeah I think it did that for me too. Tried it several times over the course of a few years, and the stuttering never went away with new hardware.

yes i have rise of flight its a fantastic game but like all games it has its problems but has been greatly improved since the last 2 patches,it is THE BEST ww1 flight simulator by a long way

Cost me 10 quid in a big PC shop, what a bargin for a very good game
Also got DCS Blackshark from game for the same price!

Rise of Flight -I saw it is available for half price online and it looks good
