I was waiting to see how it evolved - sometimes you can get a brief cold snap on the tail of those storms.

That was a poor Winter, think we only had about a 2 week spell of cold weather down south in January.

We had 5-6 bursts of torrential rain lasting around 2 minutes then a hailstorm here in South Somerset.

Forecast now for heavy hail again in around an hour.

Ah cheers didn't realise tbh I'm a yorkshire man, up there at the moment visiting my mum and dad done a lap of pugneys in Wakefield for a change nice and sunny

So, according to various ‘news’ sites we are variously going to get somewhere between 4 and 20 inches of snow in the next week or so.
Actually, when reading the articles it seems to be just an outright lie.
Why do they do this?
Fine with a good headline, but at least have some facts in it!

Anyway, does look like it’s getting colder potentially.

Any realistic thoughts on what we should expect?

Unsettled weather with probably brief but relatively intense periods of wind, rain, possibly wintery but so far nothing that would indicate any notable snow or extended cold.

A state of torpor for me, heating on full blast and hitting the bed all the time.

I hate this type of weather. In Liverpool its
3.9 °C
Feels Like 0.3 °C

Its the wind that takes you out.

Well its recycle wheelie bin collection Wednesday at 7am and those bins are flying around my road and all the paper etc in to my drive
