Quiet again in Surrey but the friend down the road that had his house roof relocated onto his car just had his insurance company tell him its not covered. In the small print they said he has to have his roof instpected every 10 years and a written report produced.
Yes agree. I have advised him to read the policy and make a complaint regardless. If knocked back then go to the insurance ombudsman. It's probably worth your friend pursuing that further. Insurers are not generally allowed to get out of paying up on the basis of small print unless they can prove it contributed to the damage being claimed for.
Could have been a fence post or the like, maybe even a scaffold poleI'm confused how the passenger died in this accident and what the debris was that went through the windscreen

Footage from the Heathrow landings combined with cockpit footage of the same landing. As someone in the comments says: and you thought playing Colin McRae Rally was tricky!

Must have been some gust and the angle to get the passenger really unlucky
That, I believe, happened during the infamous michael fish storm.Gordon Kaye who played Rene in 'Allo 'Allo had a flying piece of wood went through the windscreen of a car and hit him in the head which had to be extracted from his skull and you'll notice in the later series he has a dent in his head and an eye affected, he survived that but it happens. That happened in a similar storm many years ago I remember reading about that when it happened in the paper.
