I love the cold, it’s easy to warm up when needed. Its nigh impossible to cool down though.

It's not. Cold shower or cold bath will cool you down. Won't last long though once you are out about 10 mins and you will feel the heat again.

Maybe for the summer we need plundge pools outside the house..... to go with hotubs

I don't deserve a ban for preparation for something only 3 n half months away just about. We need to talk about the winter to keep cold in these super hot few days.

It's not that cold in Britain lol you clearly haven't lived in Northern China Harbin in the winter months. It's an average of -36ºF (-38ºC).

If you go to a typically hot climate the houses are all white, stone floors, little insulation, shutters on windows, air con etc etc. The problem in this country is while we don’t get really extreme weather, we do get decent swings either way for a number of months that makes it tougher to plan...

Woke up absolute taters this morning.

The phrase comes from rhyming slang in which "taters (potatoes) in the mould" rhymes with "cold." Primarily heard in UK. I'd wear a warmer coat if I were you—it's taters in the mould out there today!
