Did you witness some seriously bad dangerous driving round there? I saw people lane switching erratically, black cars with lights off, tail gating, just mental with that slush.
Its because you are pure fire need a picture. South west we got some settled drizzle but nothing too impressive beyond coating your boots, being on the coast will do that.
One day I hope to build a snowman instead of a sandcastle on the beach, with a proper blizzard but last good attempt was 2018
But dark cars would be more visible against the snow... right? A white car though...Plenty of dark cars with lights off but other than that nothing out of the ordinary.
Not when the road on the motorway is also dark. But dark cars would be more visible against the snow... right? A white car though...
About 20 miles south, and it's coming down heavily just now.Anyone in Birmingham area report on snowfall?
Re. The car colour, issue is dark cars with no lights are harder to see in the mirrors when rain/wet/dirt has splashed onto the mirrors, they're close to invisible.

Just a thin coating. Forecast was for rain so it probably won't last long.Anything on ground? Supposed to be clear later and temps are up. Thanks
Yeah one of my work colleagues lives in Dronfield and they have had about 12 inches and most roads are not passable. We have it good in Sheffield, no work today woohoo.
Both girls schools closed today (Wirral), mostly as its unsafe for people to get in. Looks like 2-3 inches outside but merseyrail not running until after 9 and roads are slow moving traffic.
