They have come as early as 6:15am before! Mondays are usually the day I don't bother with alarm clock,
Do you then put your trousers on, have a cup of tea and think about leaving the house?

We seemed to survive the storm last night, although the wind still blowing a gale this morning. My partner has left the horses in their stables, I can't imagine they'll want to stand out in that wind again.

strong but nothing too bad no horizontal rain fall ,no slate chatter ,greenhouse glass ok ,one last round of westerlies showing between 11am to 3pm
my favorite bit is when the wind drops but all that energy is still in the ocean and the big waves come (onshore gales just blow out the waves)

Some of the recycling bins blew over and contents strewn onto the residents' paths. If they don't pick it up, they are 1. Bloody lazy and 2. Don't seem to care. Don't understand why people don't pick up rubbish that has blown onto their driveway. Spend thousands of pounds on the house and yet cba picking up a crisp pack that has blown to their front door.

I went to sleep last night fine and there wasn't any damage by the morning.

Tomorrow sees a new storm incoming, the only thing forecasted for sure is more clickbaiting by the media.

In Preston at work and can feel the ward block creaking in the wind. Much worse than the Amber Warning the other day.
Other half at home in Rishton has just had to put some rope round the garden gate so it doesnt get ripped off the hinges.

Current wind gusts in MPH, some seriously strong winds out there tonight, definitely stronger here near Stafford than it was for Storm Isha.

Shawbury weather station stats for the last few days confirms strengthier wind and gusts tonight too.
