Can hear wood blowing about outside. That’s never a good sign.

The wind was howling all night. On my morning walk around town I was expecting a bit of destruction but I didn't see anything, all the trees seem to have survived.

My gate did not survive the wind, the wheelie bin that was propping it closed (after the last night of bad wind semi broke it) got blown away so woke up to it off it's hinges.
Been there for 20 years so it's not done bad.

Never heard a thing last night - The advantage of wearing hearing aids -Just take them out - No damage that I can see.

I managed to go to sleep, only to be woken at around 2:30am with the wind making a huge roaring noise. Kept me up most of the night.
Didn't notice any damage this morning though.

At least whoever had a broken gate which banged against their wall during the previous storms has fixed it. No idea which direction the gate is to my home
Woke up several times by a rolling can which came from a tipped over bin. It's a bloody irritating noise. Please crush cans before putting them into your recycling.

Drove back from my parents. Noticed someone has piled up the snapped small branches against the trees. Largest branch was about 1.5m long,

Warning cancelled here for yesterday, but gusts at local weather station hit mid 50mph last night, just like on Sunday night.

Very mild today and just nothing dramatic for a change, couple of nice days coming.
On my CBA walk ,house to jubilee rock, 2 hours return including flask of tea but steep enough to get the heart rate up
